"give up give up!" she beckoned. "why must he do this to himself?"
" ‘twas she the best? i think not."
"changing his mind is that of changing his heart."
"the love hast not but hardened the heart of this maiden. The lad not takest this as an art as the maiden does. but as a breaking of it"
" does not the young lad need forgiveness?"
"by his standards- never."
she vaulted herself into the woods as she had done time and time before. these thoughts chased her heals as she pressed farther and farther into the darkness.
getting away with her own flesh would never do.
"why do you run? your efforts are futile."
she knew this, but yet her legs moved under her without her consent.
"i want this to leave! i want it all to vanish and be erased from my memory for an eternity!" she cried out as tears ran down her flustered pale face.
"i can never be the same! my heart will be forever bound by this."
her emotions took control. she wanted nothing more than for her soul (her spirit) to be taken from this world, from this darkness it was trapped in.
suddenly, out from the darkness, a bright light shone. brighter than any light she had ever experienced. it glowed and sparkled notoriously. the new light was cutting away the darkness around it. she slowly paused from her plan of escape, and was in awe.
the light spoke.
" i see your heart. light as that of mine shines from it. do not exclude yourself as you have thought to. my love and light will always be upon you, if you desire for it to be. my forgiveness is that of my light. it has always and will forever be. i have heard your cries in the darkness. rest, and have peace from within my light."
